Summary

The INDUCE Study is a pilot study which will investigate the use of Point of Care Tests (POCTs) to assist in diagnosing infection in diabetic foot ulcers.

The Chief Investigator for the INDUCE Study is Dr John Ingram (Cardiff University) and the study is being run by the South East Wales Trials Unit (SEWTU), Cardiff University.

The study is funded by Health and Care Research Wales, through Welsh Government under the Research for Patient and Public Benefit Wales (RfPPB Wales) funding scheme, which funds high quality research, directed at achieving benefit for users of the NHS or the public health of the people of Wales.
